Fill the Road is a dynamic, hands-on activity that challenges children to complete road-shaped pathways by placing blocks of different lengths into designated spaces on a workboard. Through trial, error, and strategic thinking, children learn how to measure, compare, fit, and swap blocks to fill each road perfectly building essential maths and spatial reasoning skills along the way.

Each activity board presents a visual problem to solve: a road composed of empty spaces of various lengths. Using a selection of colourful, tactile blocks, children must determine which combinations of lengths complete the road. This simple yet highly effective task supports early understanding of non-standard units of measurement, part-whole relationships, and logical deduction.
